Argument of Search and Seizure
I understand that some precautions have to take forward because of safety reasons and protection, but their should be a limit put on how far that goes. I, and I'm sure many others, like privacy of their things and belongings. When I get on a plane, I understand they must search my bags and objects to keep me safe because of previous occurrences with terrorism and such, but schools are not the place and time to do these searches. My belongings at school are way diverse category on what I may take on a plane. So why must I be searched? Did someone specifically suspect me for having drugs? I'm sure not because I show no signs of it. Do I carry a weapon with me? I assure you not. So I see these random searches as unnecessary until it is necessary. I speak for many people out here. Media and experience shows me how larger schools are searched much more than when I'm searched. Personally, if I had to go through that every day, it would be pretty frustrating after awhile. "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against any unreasonable searches and seizures..." This is the 4th Amendment to the Constitution and I stand by it.
